Muscle Reference Values: Z-Score Calculator

As described in this Investigative Radiology manuscript (citation below), this web interface with sex-, age-, and vertebral-level specific reference values for skeletal muscle derived from computed tomography scans was created to compare muscle measurements to those of the study population. Please cite the publication when using these tools in your research.

The web application is running on the open-source version of Shiny Server. It requires some time to start and may run slowly. When trying to compare a list of values (batch processing), we strongly recommend doing so locally (offline). The models used in this web interface can be downloaded from GitHub. Please refer to the guide linked below for setting up a local version of the process.
