Muscle Reference Values: Z-Score Calculator

As described in the associated publication (see below), a web application was created to enable anyone to compare individual measurements of muscle metrics to those of the study population. The application is embedded below. Please cite the publication when using these tools in your research.

The application...

may require some time to load. Please be patient.

Still not seeing anything above?

The web application is running on the open-source version of Shiny Server. It requires some time to start and may run slowly. A strong server load can lead to additional loading time, and we recommend visiting the site again at a different time point. If the problem persists, please contact the corresponding author of the publication or file the issue on GitHub. Alternatively, follow the guide below on running the app offline.

Comparing batches of data

When trying to compare a list of values, we strongly recommend to do so locally. The models are available on GitHub. Once again, we refer to the guide below for setting up a local version of the process.

Running the app offline.

Running an instance of the application on your own device is easy. The exact procedure is described in the repository on GitHub.
